About the Event
This workshop is about the Circular Economy - a new frontier for innovation and greater opportunities for entrepreneurs and forward-thinking companies, as key stakeholders in leading the transition towards new sustainable business models to satisfy the triple-bottom-line. We are now observing the evolution of circular business models as leading companies like Google, Unilever, Nike, Uber, Airbnb, Phillips and SME’s around the world who are driving innovation with new circular products and services.
The Circular Economy is an economy that is restorative and regenerative by design and aims to keep products, components, and materials at their highest utility and value at all times. The World Economic Forum estimates that the circular economy provides a trillion-dollar opportunity for innovation, job creation, economic growth, and reshape every part of our lives.
In this interactive workshop, you will:
- explore circular economy practices and strategies that open and facilitate new entrepreneurial opportunities for all of the interconnected companies that form our service/product value chain and drive the economy and;
- be challenged to redesign an everyday product by reflecting on the functional and emotional needs that it serves, and apply circular design strategies that consider people, the planet and profitability as inter-related systems.
THIS WORKSHOP IS IDEAL FOR YOU IF YOU ARE AN ENTREPRENEUR, SME OR A LARGE COMPANY WHO IS INTERESTED IN EXPLORING INNOVATIVE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH, AND SUPPORT THE SUSTAINABILITY OF OUR PLANET AND SOCIETIES THAT WE LIVE IN
